Are you a skilled Fabric Engineer seeking a rewarding role in South Wales? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management company, for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join their office contract team. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday (+8 bank holidays), a company van with fuel card, and a Monday to Friday day shift schedule.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks on various fabric-related systems and equipment within office environments.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance work such as painting, carpentry, plastering, and basic plumbing.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to client requests and work orders.
  • Supporting other trades and technicians as required to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and any additional observations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar fabric maintenance role, ideally within commercial or office settings.
  • Competency in basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and plastering.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
