- Execute advanced analytics using a scalable and reusable codebase and models to address business problems effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Business Unit counterparts to formulate and test hypotheses that align with priority use cases.
- Ensure compliance with analytics standards, including tailoring methodologies to specific use case needs such as ML, AI, and descriptive analytics.
- Define batch or real-time streaming data requirements, assess data quality, and manipulate data within a "Big Data" environment.
- Determine internal and external data requirements, assess quality measures, and suitability for use.
- Develop predictive models to identify opportunities for additional support to Business Units.
- Create impactful visualizations to communicate findings derived from data.
- Engage with Data and Solution Architecture teams as necessary to implement data pipelines and tools for efficient analytics execution.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to establish enterprise-wide data assets facilitating the delivery of new use cases and machine learning model training.
- Work with Tech teams during the scale-up and roll-out of analytics applications.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, leveraging various analytical skill sets where applicable.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to lead Data scientists within the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization, in partnership with the Sr. Director.
- Foster a community to promote a data and analytics culture, encouraging data-driven thinking and discussions across priority analytics use cases.

- Stay updated on methods used in the data science community.
- Promote awareness, knowledge, and conviction around data-driven practices and behaviors, enhancing the digital IQ of Business Units.

- Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. PhD degree preferred.
- 8+ years of work experience, and at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in data science within retail organizations.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
