The Vodafone Business team delivers a large sum of revenue, offering both mobile & fixed services covering 1,500 accounts, including some of the biggest household names across the UK and globally.As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Senior Commercial Finance Manager to provide financial insight and advice to the sales and commercial teams of the SM&E segment, focusing mainly on the Medium Business. Through strong business partnering and effective decision making, you will play a pivotal role in the production of financial reporting & planning, acting as key support for month end activities, forecasting, and financial & business performance reviews.Wider responsibilities will also include:
- Providing business partnering support to sales teams including forecasting and month-end processes, financial and KPI reporting, business case governance and challenging the business to maximise margin
- Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to help them co-ordinate and land their financial numbers and carefully articulate the plan and changes and variances to plan along the way. You will provide value add analysis, reporting and tracking to support effective financial management and decision making.
- On a monthly basis, provide key insight to the business, which explains current performance and identifies any potential risks & opportunities.
- Demonstrable business partnering experience.
- Tech savvy, ideally with a working knowledge of platforms that include MS Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Ideally part/fully-qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent), with a working knowledge of commercial analysis.
- High attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
