- Lead the delivery of innovative clean technology solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and team-oriented skills.
- Oversee the entire commissioning project lifecycle, working closely with our Project Management Office (PMO) and Engineering teams to commission systems/plants at our factory and customer sites.
- Engage in comprehensive commissioning planning, encompassing budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and procedure/standard development for factory and site commissioning.
- Represent Saltworks at customer job sites. Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality system/plant commissioning and ensure a seamless handover to customers (regular international travel will be required).
- Bring forward design feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation within our engineering teams.
- Implement standardized, efficient commissioning processes while enhancing our cutting-edge industrial desalination and resource recovery plants.
- Become a subject matter expert, enabling you to keep and expand technical skills while also developing project management skills.
- No travel constraints: You must have a valid passport and be able to travel to customer sites internationally.
- A relevant Engineering degree or diploma in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Integrated, or Commissioning.
- The ability to register as a P.Eng. with EGBC.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience as an engineer in an industrial setting, particularly in the backend of project delivery and handover.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards for mechanically and electrically energized systems.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality commissioning work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in hydrostatic testing, mechanical and electrical commissioning, process control commissioning, and field commissioning.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure commissioning processes are safety oriented.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills, adept in risk management, and an excellent troubleshooting mindset.
- Strong leadership capabilities, complemented by outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain a high quality of work and quickly learn new skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a sense of urgency in completing projects on time.
- Ability to work well in a team-focused environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, while meeting deadlines.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support a rapidly growing team.

- Hands-on tooling and troubleshooting skills (not essential, yet beneficial if you like this type of work).
