- Lead and manage the in-house Accounts Payable team as well as the overseas shared services team
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
- Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and signing authority policies
- Follow up on missing receipts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner to maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure timely close of books to adhere to strict deadlines, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary
- Review month-end accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy in financial reporting
- Review month-end reconciliations to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounts payable transactions
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline workflows and reduce errors
- Developing, implementing, and communicating processes, procedures, and improvements to ensure efficient and effective accounts payable operations
- Establish KPIs to help support our accounts payable function to grow and scale at the same pace as our business
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to support decision-making processes
- You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- You have 5+ years of experience in accounts payable management or relevant finance roles
- You have prior experience managing teams and overseeing Accounts Payable processes in a large corporate environment
- You have proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (SAP preferred).
- You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
