- Plan and deliver a diverse range of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for development and providing targeted support as needed
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration
- Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and development, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and maintain best practices in early childhood education
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in early childhood education
- Proven experience working with children aged 3-5 years old, preferably within an EYFS setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and its principles of child development and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a commitment to providing stimulating and engaging learning experiences
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to support the holistic development of each child
- A passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in children's lives
