Knowsley Children’s Social Care is seeking to recruit an Experienced Social Worker to work in the Fostering Service on a full time basis. The Fostering Service currently has 2 teams one specialising in the recruitment and support of mainstream foster carers and the other undertakes quality fostering and SGO assessments in a timely manner, develop clear and focused plans and complete the role of the supervising social worker within the friends and family team.The successful applicant will need to be qualified and professionally registered as a social worker, have knowledge of current legislation and regulations, have demonstrated their experience and abilities in respect of working in partnership with children, young people, families and partner agencies.We promote applications from all sections of the community, regardless of background, belief, or identity, recognising the value that diversity brings to our organisation.
