Description of WorkThis is an INTERNAL posting for NCDAC employees only!This position will report directly to the Warden at Pamlico Correctional Institution in Bayboro, NC and will be responsible for the American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation and PREA audits at the facility. This position will report indirectly to the Division Audit Administrator. This position will be responsible for hands on guidance and assistance to the section heads within their assigned facility (facilities) regarding ACA and PREA audits and for providing technical guidance to the Warden(s). In addition, this position will coordinate internal compliance audits, safety and health audits and inspections and region inspections as well as ensuring all standard operating procedures and post orders are following audit standards and division policy. Lastly, this position will serve as the coordinator for monitoring the strategic plan, the key performance indicators and will serve as the Facility Public Information Officer. This employee will work collaboratively with other Prison section heads, the Warden, the Region Director, The Region Compliance Manager, The Division Audit Administrator, Director of Performance and Standards and other Division Directors to develop strategies for enhancing prison operations, using the results of operational audits, and other measures developed by this section.“As of January 1, 2025, there are new increase adjustments to the state's pay plans which were approved by the State Human Resources Commission, effective January 1, 2025. The new salary range(s) will be $45,926 - $80,369.”This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with .Note to Current State Employees: The salary grade for this position is NC12.
