Pesapal is looking for a passionate & a performance driven Human Resource Business Partner to join our team based in our Kenya Office. In this critical role you will drive our business growth by translating business strategies into actionable Human Resources Initiatives. As a member of our Human resources team, you will support Performance Management and support organizational culture transformation.What we are looking for:
  • A HR Generalist: A successful candidate will support the organization by offering expertise on all people areas such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employee wellness, learning & development.
  • Strategic & Analytical; You possess the ability to use evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address workforce needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducting day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (for example Goal setting, performance reviews, career planning, etc.)
  • Helping line managers deal with organizational, people, and change-related issues.
  • Optimizing organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business.
  • Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and assist the L&D function in aligning training programs with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with other HR team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with departmental leaders and provide HR advice where necessary.
  • Be up to date on employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management, to help leaders ensure compliance.
  • Provide support in the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies.
  • Providing advice and suggestions for cultural transformation initiatives to shape a strong organizational culture.
  • Implementing HR interventions related to employee wellness & talent management.
  • Collaborating with management and staff to resolve conflicts, promote positive employee relations maintain a positive work environment, boost morale, and reduce turnover.
  • Analyse trends and relevant HR metrics to develop solutions, HR programs, and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders to create a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement through effective communication.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's in human resource management or related field.
  • Must be Certified in HR
  • 5 years of Human Resource experience
  • Prior experience working with a technology company will be an added advantage.
  • Full understanding of HR Functions and Best Practice.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR Metrics & Analytics.
  • Thorough Knowledge of labour legislation
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
  • Self-starter, autonomous, excellent time-management, and organizational skills.
