Job Description:Job DescriptionRole : Network Automation EngineerLocation :Technical Skills: Hands on experience Primary : Routing and Switching, Wireless, Secondary : Firewall / Load balancers / Cloud (Azure / AWS). Hands on experience in networking protocols like TCP/IP, UPD, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, TFTP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, STP, VTP and more. Hands on experience in automating the network devices life cycle management (Design, Implement and Operate) to software conformance, and finally to audit/compliance. Hands on experience in designing automation script using Bash / Python / Perl/ PowerShell / TCL/ YAML / PHP/Ansible / for routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and cloud. Hands on experience in working with service orchestration platforms like Ansible, Cisco Network Services Orchestrator, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. Hands on experience in automating the tasks related to network controllers (e.g.SD-WAN, SD-LAN, SD-DC) as well as accommodate non-controller-based networks automation using applications like Ansible, Terraform, direct to device etc. Hands on experience in performing network audits and understand the areas where automations can be introduced to reduce efforts or generate value addition in performance of network elements.Qualification: Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of experience in networking domain and minimum 2+ years of automation experience. Must have excellent communication skills, flexibility to travel and run the show as individual contributor. Good to have certifications in Networking & Automation Domains, Cloud, Ansible, Python etc., Assist Service Orchestration Management with the development of roadmaps for implementations related to Network services. Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and statement of work documents. Innovation Management: Embrace innovation and drive IT partners to create, plan and implement innovative network and security infrastructure based on approved concepts, designs and according to IT policies and guidelines. Experience in IT- Infrastructure Projects. Infrastructure domain knowledge is essential. Experience in managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management, Issue/problem management & Scope change management.Behavioral Skills : Ability to effectively manage relationships with other infrastructure teams, application teams, stakeholders, business and customer representatives. Organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation, and target dates. Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills. Must know when to ask for assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment.
