ONSHORE SR. CONTRACT ENGINEER

• Provision of professional advice, expertise, and practical assistance to all end-user departments of the Corporation in the review and preparation of scopes of work. Including contracting strategy and the verification of the completeness and accuracy of the technical information supplied.
• Preparation of tender documentation including pricing mechanism and issues for tender & tender bulletins.
• Assist the assigned end-user departments in the issue of tender clarifications. evaluation of tenders. commercial negotiation with tenderers and award plan submissions. Represents the Contracts Department in various tender and evaluation committees. Maintains strict confidentiality and ethics on all contractual matters.
• Preparation of contract documents Incorporating the effect of all negotiations. clarifications and qualifications.
• Post Contract administration of contracts including processing of interim applications. re-measurement of work. evaluation of claims varlations and settlement of final account.
• Liase with the Contracts Control Division. Finance and Legal Departments to ensure that Contract strategies. tender and contracts are in full compliance with company’s Policies and Procedures.

• B.Sc in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent

• 12 years contract management experience in pre and post contract award and quantity surveying including at least live years experience in oil and gas Industry. Good oral and written English language with proficiency in confrast verbalism. good report writing. analytical and computer skills
