Events Supervisor - Cambridge.
Salary 28k per annum.
5 over 7 days evenings and weekends.
Transport essential.We have a fabulous opportunity to join our Food & Beverage team as an Events Supervisor.You will be responsible for the daily operation of all Meeting and Event functions and areas, as well as ensuring the correct set up of event spaces as well as the efficient service to all guests in accordance with individual events/guest requirements.Ideal candidate:

Job Duties:
  • Ensure excellent team work and FOH service.
  • To build relationships with main organisers and key clients, to liaise with them concerning any final details, changes and updates.
  • Allocate and support staff throughout the shifts.
  • Keep the staff busy and productive at all times.
  • Ensure staff meets the standards and core values of our hotel.
  • Assist in cash handling procedures as required.
  • Nurture and develop our talent and help the team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, motivating and coaching employees.
To be successful in this role we ask that you have:
  • Previous experience as a Events supervisor or an equivalent role.
  • Previous experience in a 4/5* Hotel or high profile events.
  • Passionate about all things F&B.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Functions best in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in working hours is required.
