Five separate hotels will be opened within the next few years in London, Hong Kong and major cities in Mainland China including Chengdu, Jiangmen and Kunshan.Regal Hotels International also owns the Campus La Mola, located in Barcelona, Spain.We invite applications for the following position:Event and Promotions OfficerElevate your potential, be a sales champion with us.As one of Hong Kong’s largest hotel group, Regal offers an extensive range of over 100 function rooms across six hotels catering to private events for 10 to 1500 attendants. We are seeking a few vibrant and passionate individuals to take on the role of Event and Promotions Officer in our company. The incumbent is responsible for handling catering and event sales, planning and coordinating functions and customer relations. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a managerial role.Responsibilities * Achieve sales and profit targets on catering functions and events in the Hotel.
  • Expands business opportunities through conducting sales calls and participating in external activities to enhance the presence of the Hotel in the local community.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with repeat customers.
  • Respond and recommend solutions to prospect inquiries, conduct tours and meetings for prospective events, and sell events.
  • Schedule catering functions and events, price and prepare event proposals and prepare contracts.
  • Work alongside event planners to coordinate the appropriate event and assist in the logistics.
  • Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the customer throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests.
  • Follow up with the event host at the conclusion of the event for continuous improvement in food and service quality.
Requirements * Degree holder or Higher Diploma holder in Hospitality, Event Management or relevant disciplines.
  • 1-year sales experience will be an advantage.
  • Training will be provided for candidates without relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated and possess excellent salesmanship.
  • Outgoing and have outstanding communication skills.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
