- Lead a team of program managers to deliver complex, full lifecycle, cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations.
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, proactively solving problems and identifying and mitigating risks.
- Identify continuous improvement metrics and effectively engage with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals.
- Identify and analyze data and anecdotal input to isolate issues, identify root causes and contributing factors, test solutions and develop resolution action plans.
- Continuously improve processes to ensure oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive change management efforts across various programs that become Amazon WHS best practices.
- Review, evaluate and determine the technological tools needed to automate WHS processes and standard work ensuring regulatory compliance with reporting requirements.
- Lead Improvement Projects/Kaizen events to bring together cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and achieve targeted performance improvement in a compressed time-frame.
- Manage complex and quick-turn integration projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.
- Role requires travel up to 25% of the time

Drawing from field expertise, OpEx partners with cross-functional teams to resolve global challenges and proactively support our 8,000+ WHS professionals. We partner with process owners to understand causal effects leading to defects, leverage process improvement tools and methodologies to eliminate defects and improve efficiency, and drive changes to optimize safety performance and create a culture of safety excellence.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Bellevue, WA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree

The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market.
