Petrofac is seeking a Senior Structural Designer – Contractor for 12 months, based in Aberdeen, UK.The role is outside IR35, and we invite Limited Companies to engage.Scope of Services:· Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.· Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes· Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process· Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets· Produce structural design drawings / 3d models etc· Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS· provide checking of structural drawings· Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues· Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards· Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriateDeliverables:· Structural general arrangement drawings· Structural detail drawings· Structural destruct drawings· Installation methodology drawings / documents· Rigging drawings· Survey reports· Construction workpack input· Weight control reports· Presentations sketches etc. to assist in scope communicationsAdditional Design Deliverables to Check:· Structural general arrangement drawings· Structural detail drawings· Structural destruct drawings· Installation methodology drawings / documents· Rigging drawings· Survey reports· Construction workpack input· Weight control reportsAdditional Information
