- Power democratic participation wherever the open Internet exists, by testing to ensure that New/Mode tools are accessible, usable across all browsers and devices and properly internationalized.
- Detection and prevention of escaped defects in New/Mode code
- Analyze requirements and use cases to develop test plans and estimate efforts
- Create, execute, and maintain these test plans with test cases that maximize coverage
- Set up environments to be used for testing
- Report on defects and work on end to end resolution of these bugs
- Participate and be an active member in Agile Activities (Scrum, Demo, Planning, Estimation, etc)
- 5+ years of quality assurance testing experience.
- Analysis of new software features.
- Creation and maintenance of thorough software test plans with test cases that maximize coverage.
- Methodical and meticulous execution of functional and regression tests.
- Proven ability to evaluate and document software defects and provide steps for replicating them.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, usability, accessibility and cross-browser testing strategies for web application development.
- Experience with the Agile methodology.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work remotely.
- Consumer SaaS experience an asset.
- $75,000-80,000 CAD Base Salary
