What you will doCross Functional interaction: Work collaboratively with the Product Managers and Designers to advice on production viability of preliminary designs and provide appropriate graded specifications.Sample approval responsibilities: Review and completely understand a series of garment prototypes, size set and Pre-Production Samples as they relate to specified design sketches, fabric, desired silhouette, measurements, and trim.Ensure continuity of fit for the designated category, making sure all samples fit the standard sizes appropriately for the design, ensuring that expectations for garment fit and manufacture are clearly communicated.Conduct and evaluate Fittings, identify and analyses fit / pattern issues and provide solutions for sample improvement, comment on all samples in CLO-SET and approve garment for production in a timely manner.Create measurement specifications for new garments and development of seasonal specification packages in FLEX PLM, making sure the grade corresponds with design, fabrication of style and fit through production process.Communication with vendors: Clearly communicate with the vendor, any changes or corrections that need to be made within the timeline and action schedule deadlines.Perform store audits: Develop regular reports analyzing supplier performance through quality and other key performance indicators.Engage in active problem solving with overseas vendors, providing solutions & clarity to ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk production.What you bringBachelor's degree in fashion program that included pattern making, garment construction and textiles; textile relevant course or degree preferred.Proficiency with Pattern Making and/or 3D software CLO.3-5 years of experience as a Pattern Maker/|Fit TechnicianExtensive knowledge of pattern making and garment construction with a strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, pattern making, sewing, measuring, and fitting.Understanding of 3D sampling, fabric and garment testing will be an asset.Proficiency in MS office (Excel/Word/Outlook), Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).Excellent time management, organizational & problem-solving skillsCuriosity for change & learning, capable of managing ambiguity.HybridWe value flexibility.
