- To assist in providing overall leadership and direction of the effectiveness of the department.
- To assist in accomplishing objectives by coaching, assigning, scheduling, communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions and adhering to policies and procedures.
- To assist in overseeing and managing the Faculty Office in alignment with Taylor's priorities, in ensuring proper governance of the faculty and compliance with University policies and procedures
- Ensuring and maintaining close working relationship with the Campus Director, Heads of Schools, Faculty Office Managers and other Heads of Administrative Departments, in ensuring implementation of an effective administrative and academic support functions.
- To administer all aspects of the job functions which includes:
- Providing advice and support to the team in administrative related matters
- Ensuring job assignments are completed correctly and promptly
- Working with team members to resolve related issues
- Ensuring quality services to customers
- To assist and prepare documentation for MQA and professional body accreditation (especially in certification process), dual award partners and related regulatory body, if applicable.
- To help in collating data and information for the development of annual business plan.
- To assist in monitoring the school's budget.
- Responsible for the secretariat role for the faculty such as SPC, Disciplinary Committee and Dual Award partnership.
- To assist in managing the coordination of workload planning for all relevant modules including those modules being offered across faculties in each semester.
- To assist in the managing of different duties of graduation /award ceremonies as applicable.
- To assist in updating and administering the TES on a semester basis.
- To assist activities related to the curricula updates on CURATE.
- Preparation of timely and accurate reports and statistic.
- Students appeal Investigation and documentation.
- Engage in cooperative efforts to carry out the approved projects as and when assigned.
- Represent the department in various meetings and provide constructive feedback and advice to resolve issues when needed.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate information on faculty/schools published on Taylor's website
- Any other responsibilities that may be required from time to time as directed by Superior.
