- Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop an activation plan as per the overall strategy for targeting the top tier award targets, in line with our business priorities.
- Work with the Data Team to ensure we are communicating to the right target audience across each campaign - building awareness, interest, desire, and action.
- Provide ongoing updates and maintain reports on the performance of each campaign to key stakeholders.
- Keep close track on entries into award categories and work with key stakeholders, to ensure quality entries into each of the awards.
- Ensure the correct audience (and volumes) are in attendance at events/conferences.
- Create, execute and review email and social communication plans.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure key messages from the activation plan are shared across key channels.
- Ensure all sales material is in place, with at least a 7-month lead-in time.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to monitor entries into categories and work with the award advisors to focus on key areas where entries are required.
- Work with Head of Events content to promote judges and sponsors across key channels.
- Create landing pages for registrations to events, forms and Salesforce campaigns.
- Attend awards and events.
- Prioritize data collection to both improve customer experience and drive product innovation for all products.
- Work with other product leaders to ensure cross promotion is effective.
- A methodical, commercially minded, action orientated approach.
- Ability to work in a matrix type environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing a product or service, ideally from a relevant sector (Publishing/Media/Marketing)
- Understanding of the B2B sector and awards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling marketing content and presentations.
- Tech literate and a fast learner / previous experience with marketing tools including Salesforce, Pardot, Canva and Foleon.
- Proven ability to create an event concept from start to finish.
- Understanding of what makes a good customer journey, pre, during and post event.
- Able to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
- Analytical and numerate.
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
- Calm under pressure.
