Job Description:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8+ years as an established infrastructure engineering professional working in the related technology infrastructure design, implementation, systems administration and support or engineering.
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in designing and implementation of Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
  • Good experience in managing Mobile migration to Intune.
  • Extensive experience in managing the Azure DevOps for Intune.
  • Good experience on scripting tools i.e., Python, bash, PowerShell & C# script, etc.
  • Documentation skills - Should have good knowledge on technical writing, authoring technical documentation.
  • Communication skills
  • Should have exceptional professional communication skills – address meetings and present designs to stakeholders, interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct technical trainings.
  • Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver technical projects from scratch.
  • Sound problem analysis and resolution abilities.
  • Very good understanding of ITIL service framework.
  • Product Selection: The Candidate plays a key role in the initial selection of Products to be used in the Bank. This may include:
  • New Products which are required to address new business requirements.
  • Product upgrades or replacements. For example, this may be driven by a product approaching End-Of-Life (in which case an alternative may need to be found).
  • Perform Product Onboarding, including the following:
  • Onboarding the Cloud platform service like LeapXeprt, Symphony, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager in technology standards
  • Prepare Implementation and configuration guide for MEM products (Intune, MECM, Autopilot).
  • Product Lifecycle Management: For all products allocated to the Engineer, the Lead Engineer is responsible for:
  • Monitoring End-Of-Sale, End-Of-Manufacturer-Support, End-Of-Life, and any other relevant dates published by the Vendor
  • Maintaining the Invest, Contain & Disinvest state of each product.
  • Keep all this information updated in Technology product catalogue.
  • Product Governance: The Candidate plays a key role in obtaining the Governance tollgate approvals to adhere to SCB standard process.
  • Patch & Vulnerability Management:
  • Engineers receive notification from security for CVEs relevant to their Products. The Engineer is responsible for assessing the CVE and advising on the next course of action per current guidelines.
  • Engineers may also receive notification from other channels (e.g., support teams, vendor alerts). The Engineer is responsible for assessing these and advising on the next course of action per the current process guidelines defined in the bank.
  • Engineers are also responsible for understanding, tracking & driving the resolution of those complex technical issues that have been escalated to them.
  • Lab Environment: The Candidate is responsible for ensuring proper development infra for the Team.
  • Engineers will be involved in the hands-on deployment of systems into the Lab environment (for POC, Evaluation, Ongoing Maintenance).
  • Where possible, the Engineer should maintain the Lab Environment for the products under their ownership on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide expertise to internal groups in relation to the Bank Enterprise products. This may involve:
  • Review of design documentation provided by other teams in the Bank.
  • Participation in project deployments (typically for a first-time installation of a product).
  • Work closely with bank internal security teams to anticipate and address security concerns ·
  • Identify and manage all risk and issue management.
  • Prioritize work to successfully deliver “service” in a diverse environment. ·
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills are essential. This is a critical skill as a large part of the role involves developing high quality documentation, design diagrams and flows.
  • Good knowledge of one or more key infra systems which prevails in the SCB but not restricted to that alone. Principally expected to have good Level 4 knowledge at least for the Primary skillset mentioned below.
  • Primary Skillset:
  • Microsoft Intune and Workspace one, to manage mobile
  • LeapXpert or App monitoring or alert solution.
  • Secondary Skillset:
  • Azure Active Directory
  • ADFS
  • Azure Devops
  • ForgeRock SSO/ MFA
  • Certificate Authority
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • .NET, Phyton/ Bash Scripting
  • Power BI
  • Conditional Access
  • MDM \ MAM
  • Graph API etc.
  • Security focussed
  • Additional Knowledge in the following areas:
  • IT Consulting Experience.
  • Advanced Threat Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Document/Information Rights Management.
  • Experience in conducting and supporting Microsoft 365 application migration, authentication, and identity management.
  • Experience in with Federation Services and Identity Management.
  • Encryption Management
  • End User Experience.
  • ITIL V4 Certification is plus.
  • Person must have certified in any of endpoint management platform tool (MECM or Intune).
