- Develop and implement QA plans, procedures, and processes to ensure that construction activities comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Review project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts, to identify quality requirements and establish QA criteria.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of construction processes, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with QA standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish QC inspection plans, checklists, and protocols for monitoring and evaluating the quality of construction work at various stages of the project.
- Perform on-site inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and installations, including concrete work, structural elements, MEP systems, finishes, and architectural details.
- Document and report non-conformities, defects, and deficiencies observed during QC inspections, and collaborate with project teams to develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with material suppliers, subcontractors, and testing laboratories to ensure that construction materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis of construction materials, such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and finishes, to verify compliance with quality standards and performance criteria.
- Candidates MUST be immediately available and currently based in the UAE
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE) is desirable.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in QA/QC engineering, with a focus on building construction projects, preferably in commercial, residential, or institutional sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques, as well as relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, AISC, ASCE).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in conducting QA/QC inspections, tests, and evaluations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction management software, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and digital tools for documentation and reporting.
