As we expand our services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Carpenter and Site Supervisor to join us in our mission.Project Overview: Minor commercial works, aged care refurbishments, school refurbishments. Project value $50,000 - $1.5mil.Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Carpenter and Site Supervisor to undertake minor commercial projects within aged care facilities and government. The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial settings, possess a strong understanding of safety protocols, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to the comfort and well-being of elderly residents. Please note Site Supervisor are required to be on the tools to carry out smaller projects. Generally about 50/50Responsibilities:

Execute carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of fixtures, furniture, and structural components in aged care facilities and commercial.
Collaborate with facility managers and project leads to plan and schedule projects according to resident needs and facility requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Safeguard the well-being of residents and staff by maintaining a clean, organized work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.

Qualifications and requierments:

Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in commercial or institutional settings.
For site manager, experience running smaller commercial projects from start to finish while still being on the tools
Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials used in construction and renovation projects.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to carpentry work.
2 Covid vaccinations and annual flue shot
Compassionate attitude and respect for the needs and preferences of elderly individuals.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
