The role is to achieve sales targets by promoting DFDS services to existing and new customers. Making a positive contribution to the growth of the business by actively seeking and securing new business opportunities. There may also be some European travel, therefore flexibility and commitment are the attributes required to successfully fulfil this role. We are looking for proven business development skills within the supply chain sector Role requires high knowledge of European short sea and international trailer transport. Ability to offer end to end logistic solutions to suit customer needs.About the roleYou will be responsible for:

Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against sales targets.
Ensure that all sales and marketing policies are implemented and adhered to.
Align sales team strategy to maximize results.
Ability to form strategic relationships with large multinational companies in Ireland and negotiate win-win solutions with these customers.
Develop logistics solutions across multi modal routes in Europe.
Key Account Management with large accounts in Ireland and Mainland Europe.
English will be essential a second European language would be an asset due to frequent interaction with our European offices.
