Estimator/Quantity Surveyor- £40k-£55k+- DartfordAre you a dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? My client is seeking a talented Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join their innovative team and make a significant impact on high-profile projects.About the Role:As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for estimating and surveying drywall and fa�ade packages for specific projects. You will produce monthly valuations, manage weekly wage bookings, handle wage queries, price variations, and manage non-recoverable costs. You will also attend regular meetings with clients, suppliers, architects, and structural engineers, ensuring accurate cost control and organizational effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve Estimating/Quantity Surveying systems and processes.
  • Consult with clients, suppliers, and manufacturers to determine project requirements and address any issues.
  • Produce monthly valuations, control weekly wage bookings, and manage wage queries.
  • Monitor cash collection and report project progress.
  • Seek information from suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate cost management.
  • Attend various meetings, including Mid-Tender, Pre-Order, Pre-Start, and Design Team meetings.
  • Stay updated on Health & Safety legislation and other legal requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the management team.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Estimating/Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong background in construction.
  • Degree-level education preferred.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Experience in internal drylining, screeding, suspended ceilings, lightweight steel framing, insulated render systems, rainscreen cladding systems, and curtain walling.
