Registered Social Worker (SWA) (Full time)

• Providing support and guidance to children & youth who come from disadvantaged backgrounds

• Conducting assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children & youth who come to the Hub, including interviews, completing intake forms, reviewing relevant documentation and home visits

• Developing care plans that outline the goals and objectives for individual child or youth concerned in order to identify specific services and resources that will be helpful in addressing the child or youth's needs

• Providing counselling and support to children and youth who are experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties, and to families who are struggling with parenting or other issues

• Initiate and lead new programs and workshops, especially in areas of child development, counselling, parenting and community engagement

• Plan, facilitate and implement related service programs and activities, manage program budgets, prepare reports and feedback surveys

• Assist with fundraising, grant applications and reporting to donors / sponsors when necessary

• Bachelor degree in Social Service with at least 2 years of experience in working with children or teenagers

• Experience working with children with special needs and casework experience on family and parenting is preferable

• Good network with schools will be an advantage

• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Chinese input

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, independent, self-motivated
