- Responsible for the day-to-day control of SLA workflow and organisation of the 3PL team to achieve the targets and objectives set effectively to a high standard
- Continuously review and improve process' to gain maximum efficiently
- Provide support and training for team members to enable them to achieve the required standards of performance and behaviours
- To oversee all aspects of the 3PL sites to include:-
- Retail returns
- Multichannel returns
- Supplier returns
- Clearance stocks
- Cycle count
- Carton audit
- Fascia discrepancy
- Inbound deliveries
- None Sents
- Stock Removals
- General enquires
- Monitor levels of adjustments within the DC and analyse the information to identify and report on your findings
- Ensure the distribution centre is fully cycle counted each QTR and analyse discrepancies reported
- Monitor audit trail of cartons beings dispatched from the DC
- Trace discrepancies reported by stores
- Investigate discrepancies reported on 'Fast track' IBTs
- Reporting of any quality or product issues to the relevant department
- Perform audits on trader sale stock
- Maintain relationships with traders to ensure they stay in line with JD Groups social corporate responsibilities
- Supervise the collection of end of line/exit route stock
- Ensure all retail returns are collected on schedule
- Monitor and oversee stock destined for destruction
- Complete weekly tests on security equipment (CCTV recordings)
- Monitor and enforce security policies/procedures and ensure search outs are in line with the company policy
- Weekly/quarterly meetings to be attended with the group stock manager
- Conduct ADHOC checks on all trader pallets to ensure consistently and accuracy
- Conduct regular visits to all outdoor sites and raise/review and issues and concerns
- Report on recoveries for the business and achieve target set
- Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Management experience essential within a similar environment
- Previous Stock Control experience would be preferred but not essential
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy to produce documentation and maintain a variety of accurate records
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently, to set and achieve measurable targets and work within budgets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Computer literate - be able to utilise a range of Microsoft office programs
- Be able to communicate and operate with all levels of staff
