  • Apply your strong strategic business and financial acumen with the vision to drive success throughout the country
  • Provide leadership to the zone AE heads and their respective AE teams through motivation, coaching, skill development, knowledge sharing and information management with clear and focused direction
  • Drive nationally and locally both short and longer-term sales strategies that result in financial goal attainment, strong customer loyalty and staff development
  • Hire, develop and coach extraordinary sales leaders and professionals who execute complex sales strategies to address customer pain-points and maximize long-term partnerships with Siemens Healthineers Point of Care (SHS POC)
  • Partner with the National Head of Customer Experience Specialist (CES) team to identify and synthesize customer and competitor insights, market and industry challenges to drive long-term sales success, while fostering enduring customer relationships
  • Ensure achievement of sales and commercial objectives nationally and in each of the zones
  • Develop and execute key account plans to accelerate zone sales, profit and market share growth
  • Manage and lead change as necessary, while developing an overall culture of customer excellence
  • Working closely with teams such as POC Key & Government Accounts and Siemens Healthineers Enterprise Solutions teams to actively cultivate sales opportunities at larger targeted accounts to further develop and drive our business opportunities
  • Partner with other internal colleagues such as Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing and Service functions to ensure our customers’ needs are met and they in turn, meet or exceed their contractual obligations
  • Champion new initiatives and identify opportunities to build a culture of collaboration within national team, together with the partner CES national head
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks (i.e., detailed sales forecasting, training modules, and all required reporting) are completed promptly and accurately by all team members
  • Budget responsibility for travel and expenses for USA AE sales team including the responsibility to oversee and manage spending in line with the company’s goals and expectation
Your expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree required in business administration or a business specialty; Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of diagnostics, point of care (POC) or laboratory sales experience
  • 6+ years of experience leading, developing, training, and mentoring direct reports with documented success in that role
  • Excels at conflict management to eliminate possible barriers to success
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Possesses strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills
  • Proven superior oral, written and presentation communication skills that can be applied to customers, direct reports and SHS management, including the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to drive sales success
  • Highly proficient in the use of sales & customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic critical thinking and focused, executable decision making
  • Extensive experience with one or multiple effective sales methodologies included but not limited to strategic selling / complex sales; proof of training and utilization of these methods is required
  • Established contacts at Hospital Systems and/or Integrated Delivery Network (IDNs) within assigned territory preferred
  • Able to work remotely, travel to support sales activities and engage with customers, partners, and attend industry events as needed throughout the United States
