Early Years Teaching AssistantSalford, Eccles M30 0TU£1666.60- £1700per month - potential salary depending on experience and/or qualifications and number of hours worked each week)September 2024-July 2025The School and RoleAs part of our larger school, we include a Nursery and Reception class unit of up to 60 children. We are committed to creating an encouraging and inclusive environment that supports the progression and development of every child. Our team of enthusiastic professionals work determinedly to guarantee that each child receives adapted care and education personalised to their exclusive needs. As an SEN Nursery Practitioner, you will play a fundamental role in supporting children with special educational needs, ranging from mild learning difficulties to more complex challenges. You will collaborate attentively with our team of educators, parents, and external specialists to generate and implement modified educational plans (IEPs) that promote each child's growth and welfare.RequirementsThe requested skillset the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant you will require;
  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above) is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN in a nursery or educational setting.
  • A profound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and experience creating and implementing IEPs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently with children, parents, and professionals.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • An optimistic, patient, and empathetic approach, with a resilient commitment to professional development and learning.
  • A strong passion for supporting pupils furthering the academic and personal development.
