Hato Hone St John is making changes within Ambulance Operations to strengthen our strategic focus and to ensure our service delivery model remains contemporary, dynamic, and responsive to the needs of our patients and communities. As a result, we are introducing a number of new positions within the Ambulance Operations leadership team.About the roleReporting to the General Manager Ambulance Operations - Integrated Operations Centre (GMAO - IOC) the IOC - Support Manager role is responsible for providing day-to-day tactical and strategic support to the GMAO - IOC to ensure they can execute their role effectively during episodes of change, system update projects, workflow improvement and initiatives.Strategic activities include coordinating stakeholder interactions, preparing briefings, ensuring key strategic issues are brought to the attention of the GMAO-IOC and where necessary ambulance operations Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role will also ensure the smooth cascade of information between the GMAO-IOC and the spread of functions reporting into this role.Demonstrated success in people, performance, and resource management, to support the achievement, and improvement of delivery, engagement and customer, patient and staff satisfaction is required.Please see the attached position description for full details of the role.Auckland location is preferred, but Christchurch may be considered.This is an exciting time to be part of Hato Hone St John and to help shape the future of St John ambulance operations in New Zealand.
