They are currently looking to hire a MHF Process Safety Manager for their ANZ business based at their site in Melbourne's western suburbs.Job DescriptionThe MHF & Process Safety Manager ANZ is responsible for overseeing and executing various regulatory and safety tasks related to major hazard facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Lead regulatory and Hexion compliance initiatives in MHF (Safety Case), PSM and Site Security.
  • Develop and maintain Safety Management System (SMS) Procedures to satisfy ANZ EHS Regulations with respect to the operation of Major Hazard Facilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive and systematic assessment (consequence and likelihood of occurrence: quantitative or qualitative) of all MI's and MIH's across all ANZ Sites and evaluate the risk of operations
  • Lead the implementation of Risk control and reduction (capital & non-capital) measures across all ANZ Sites
  • Fulfil a site safety role across all ANZ sites as Process Safety Specialist and monitor site modifications
  • Assist each site in the development of Site Emergency plans to achieve regulatory approval
  • Manage PSM training programs and develop training materials to implement MHF- MI and MIH identification and establish site competencies in PSM.
  • Lead investigation for significant process safety incidents.
  • Participate in Global Risk Engineering & Process Safety, Reliability and Leadership teams.
  • Participate on the capital project review team. Present updates on current and future EHS projects.
The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate for the MHF & Process Safety Manager ANZ position should have over 10 years of EH&S and process safety experience, including 5-10 years in risk evaluation methodologies. They must be skilled in Safety Management Systems (SMS), familiar with ANZ safety regulations. A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent is highly sought after and the ability to travel up to 15% of the time would also be required.What's on OfferHexion is a globally recognised company that is involved with a diverse range of industries.
