Working collaboratively with a community of donors, volunteers and community organizations, the Food Bank provides food across 13 northern Illinois counties each week.Position SummaryNorthern Illinois Food Bank is dedicated to building community awareness of hunger and supporting a network that provides nutritious food and resources for our neighbors with dignity and convenience through partnerships and innovation. Staff is committed to embodying neighbor centric values in partnerships with our network in all activities. The position provides partnership and guidance for our member agencies and regulatory compliance of the Food Bank programs This position provides technical and onsite support to agencies utilizing the Link2Feed neighbor intake software and/or other Service Insight software/data collection programs. This person will assist with training, onboarding and administrative tasks associated with Service Insights.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Assist the Agency Relations Data Specialist in the overall onboarding and ongoing support of member agencies utilizing Link2Feed client intake software
  • Support Training Specialist in conducting and attending monthly Link2Feed trainings; both virtual and in-person
  • Support agency members by conducting site visits to prepare agencies for Link2Feed implementation and attend initial “go live” visit
  • Assist with Link2Feed onboarding administrative tasks including collection and storage of L2F Agency Agreements and L2F User Agreements
  • Create and update agency user accounts within Link2Feed
  • Conduct annual L2F User Agreement Audit
  • Provide technical support to Link2Feed users in a friendly, timely manner.
  • Manage and resolve data inconsistencies within Link2Feed including duplicates, typos, errors in visit records, etc.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports using Service Insights data for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide additional reports as needed
  • Assist in collection and organization of service insights data collected in systems outside of Link2Feed
  • Assist with general agency and neighbor data analysis
  • Track Link2Feed equipment and internet support provided to member agencies
  • Provide support to neighbors needing assistance with Link2Feed CNCT registration/account management
  • Provide regular feedback to the appropriate agency team members on successes and learnings from member agencies

  • Four year degree in related area or equivalent experience
  • Experience troubleshooting software applications and functional issues at the client level
  • Demonstrated experience in training, adult education, business/communications or technology
  • Experience working with volumes of data in spreadsheets or in a database
  • Ability to review, understand and interpret data
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with digital records retention and data management
  • Ability to work with multicultural, multigenerational, remote teams
  • Strong customer focus
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word and Google Suite
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Northern Illinois Food Bank’s 13 county service area
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis positions does not have supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. Opportunity to work remotely is possible. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, mobile equipment, such as Wi-Fi or hotspots and virtual meeting tools such as Zoom or Skype. Driving to remote locations will be required with own vehicle.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently communicate with member agencies, community members, internal and external customers, and team members over the phone, through email, and in person. They should be able to move inside and outside on uneven surfaces, climb and descend stairs, identify and count inventory. This would require the ability to move files and supplies; open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool or ladder as necessary.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Food Bank hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., due to diverse agency hours of operation this position will require some evening and weekend hours.
