This is a perfect opportunities for those who are looking to go on to do a PGCE or who wish to gain experience in Education Psychology following their undergraduate degree.The ideal candidate:
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
  • Those who obtain a qualification within Care/SEN
  • Strong teamwork ethic
  • Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs
The role will consist of:
  • Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
  • Personal care
  • Creating a safe environment
  • Managing and diffusing challenging behaviour
Position Details
  • LOCATION – Blackburn (BB2)
  • POSITION – Special Needs Teaching Assistant
  • CONTRACT TYPE – Temporary – Permanent
  • MINIMUM DAILY RATE – £95
  • HOURS – Full time Monday – Friday 08:30-15:30 term-time only
  • START DATE – 03/09/2024
