Telum Media creates connections between the media and public relations sectors using our industry-focused online media contacts database, events, news and communications channels.Our media teams, located across the Asia Pacific region, work diligently to ensure our media database is updated with accurate and relevant information.They also create and obtain sign-off on industry-relevant content by reaching out to journalists, publishing short and long-form content, and supporting calls for help with our Media Requests service.All this helps public relations firms and in-house communication teams connect with the right journalists and media outlets at the right time.We are looking for an Associate Executive to join our Taiwan Media Team based in Hong Kong where you will work alongside knowledgeable and professional colleagues.What you will do:Maintain the accuracy and relevancy of the journalist and media outlet database in compliance with Data Protection lawsBuild, update and verify journalist and media outlet profilesAccurately and competently action lead generation activities to identify relevant database updates and content opportunitiesDevelop an understanding of the local journalist and media landscapeConstantly adhere to Telum Media’s data policies and methodologiesDevelop editorial skills necessary for meaningful engagement with journalists to enhance Telum’s content offeringDevelop the confidence and skills required to engage with journalists over the phone, through email and / or onlineDevelop the confidence and skills required to meet journalists and / or host journalist meetingsWhat we are looking for:Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about the local media industryDetermined, self-motivated, with a proactive attitude to learningOptimistic and energetic, enjoys working in a Team environmentEnthusiastic about maintaining standards and great attention to detailProven ability to multi-task and work to deadlinesExcellent standard written and spoken Chinese and EnglishKnowledge of social media operations [LINE official accounts] preferableExcellent data entry and research skillsComputer literate [MS Office]Good communication skills
