Develop and implement global category strategies for automotive components to achieve cost savings, quality, and delivery targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the category
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements and expectations.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for automotive components, including sourcing, RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection.
Monitor and analyse category spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Conduct cost breakdown analysis and value engineering activities to drive cost improvements.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing role, Preferably automotive industry
In-dept knowledge of manufacturing and industry
Experience in utilising SAP
Able to travel frequently
High proficiency in English
