- Lead and manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Oversee all aspects of building surveying projects, from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct detailed surveys, inspections, and assessments of buildings, identifying defects, recommending repairs, and providing cost estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, schedules of work, and specifications, communicating findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other professionals, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation in our services.
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Extensive experience in building surveying, with a proven track record of managing projects and leading teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects analysis, and repair methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including CAD software and surveying tools.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
