- Strong experience in database administration in MS SQL Server 2019.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, clustering, database mirroring, replication.
- SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).
- Document database environment.
- Collaborate with a small IT team sharing responsibilities.
- Support and maintain Infor SyteLine ERP systems, including configuration, customization, and integration with other applications.
- Maintain and develop procedures to maintain security and protect database systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
- Help lead the Master Data Management team and perform data validation on new and existing reports.
- Proven ability to communicate business and technical information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Install, configure, and maintain (install updates) MS SQL Server 2019.
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Proficiency in MS Server, MS Windows, and all MS Office products.
- Problem solving skills and high motivation to solve problems.
- Hands-on experience with Infor SyteLine ERP systems, including installation, configuration, customization, and support.
- Familiarity with database security principles, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and strong teamwork skills, English language usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- The DBA/ERP Administrator will also complete other duties as assigned.
- 4+ years of experience in database development and support in MS SQL Server environments.
- College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience.
- Regularly/Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend
- Regularly/Frequently use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate tools
- Regularly reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally/Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and, infrequently, up to 50 pounds
