Omni Underground is a family-owned and operated business committed to their employees and customers. We are looking for individuals to join one of our teams to perform tasks including but not limited to digging pits, potholing, backfilling, compacting, operating a jackhammer, and setting boxes/vaults, to support the progress of our construction projects. In fulfilling these duties, it is expected that the individual will embody and uphold our foundational values of Teamwork, Respect, Quality, Communication, Positivity, and Integrity.Responsibilities:
  • Operate a quickie saw and 90lb jackhammer safely and efficiently on asphalt & concrete
  • Perform hand digging, & in some jobs perform mini-x & backhoe operators
  • Pothole using a mud vac and backfilling tasks
  • Compact soil and materials using powder puffer, breaker bar, & shovel
  • Set boxes, vaults, and other structures according to project specifications
  • Set up and take down traffic control equipment to ensure safety at the job site
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Qualifications:
  • Class-A Commercial Drivers License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 90 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
