Location : Flexible, UK Job AdvertThe Role:A field-based role responsible for both client retention as well as growth.To consult with C-Level Executives and their teams to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by PIB’s products and services. This role requires an individual with strong executive presence who can demonstrate ability to establish strong relationships at the C-Level.Responsibilities:
  • To understand large/global client business strategy, drivers and goals.
  • To promote the profile of PIB in line with Company Strategy and deliver solutions to the target market.
  • To initiate, hold and maintain business relationships with clients and prospects and develop key stakeholder relations as required.
  • To utilise communication and negotiation techniques and skills to clearly inform and educate clients and prospects about the features and benefits of products, ensuring that every client receives a full complement of sales and upselling opportunities.
  • Account management with the outcome of increased client satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growth.
  • To collect and analyse client and prospect information and feedback and assist with the preparation of and delivery of insurance proposals based on their requirements.
  • To manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • To acquire, maintain and record an accurate level of appropriate product and regulatory knowledge and skill as is appropriate for the role.
  • To ensure that all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company.
  • To motivate and develop strong relationships with Account Handlers to support the relationships and aims of the team.
  • To be accountable for both team and individual Objectives and Performance targets for both sales and/ or retention to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • To agree and deliver client service requirements, formulate, distribute and adhere to service plan.
  • To develop and secure new business opportunities in accordance with the budget set by Line Manager.
  • To ensure that client satisfaction is the key to individual and collective success and align actions accordingly.
  • To demonstrate commercial acumen by developing a sound understanding of insurance and how value can be added, costs saved or insurer loss ratios improved and take appropriate action to improve them.
  • To contribute to a successful audit score both on individual audits along with team and business audits.
  • Documented attendance at regular 121 sessions with your manager and identify appropriate training and self-development within CPD framework.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a similar role.
  • Evidence of prior success to prospect/client management at C-level and senior level relationships within large multi-national /Corporate companies.
  • Understanding of global programme design.
  • Experience in cross class ie) Property, General Liability, Cyber, Management Liability etc
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions for the client.
  • Collaborative, focused, selfless, agile and results driven.
  • Drives performance to succeed in a target based environment.
  • Good excel skills and ability to extract meaningful MI/analysis data.
  • Excellent presentation skills, coupled with communication and negotiation skills to enable relationships to be built.
  • Focus on clients, with effective use of verbal and listening skills
