- Prospect senior decision makers, to identify business challenges which we can help solve.
- Generate new business via targeted account planning, leveraging marketing collateral, events, internal and partner relationships.
- Position our Microsoft professional services capabilities around Digital Innovation, in order to deliver business outcomes via consultative solution selling.
- Prepare proposals and presentations as required to demonstrate solution outcomes.
- Manage the end to end sales cycle to ensure timely delivery of proposals and exceed client satisfaction.
- Understand new and emerging offerings and the value they provide, to identify and articulate these benefits to clients.
- Provide input to marketing activity, events and campaigns for effective communication of offerings.
- Maintain pipeline opportunities to ensure accurate forecasting; weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Document plans for over-achievement of targets, including information on new and existing accounts, revenue expectations, close dates and critical success factors.
- Attain minimum sales expectations and aim to exceed these where possible.
- Partner Engagement – working closely with Microsoft and partners to discuss opportunities and plan co-sell activity.
- Experience in a technology consultative sales role, focussed on new business development and existing customer account management.
- Evidence of prior success in exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in account planning and understanding of territory management.
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen.
- Proven experience building and managing client relationships and providing value added, strategic insight to their business.
- Strong understanding of customer dynamics, business requirements and decision making processes.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
- Impeccable personal brand and strong professional network.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- High level of motivation and initiative.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of sales processes from prospect to close.
