- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEN, assisting them with academic tasks and activities.
- Adapt learning materials and resources to accommodate the child's learning style and abilities.
- Implement strategies to support the child's social and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Monitor the child's progress and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare policies, ensuring the child's safety and well-being at all times.
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the child and the school environment.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
- Competitive daily rate of £85.
