Part-Time Payroll Administrator

- Assisting with processing payroll for 13 companies, with a total of 300 staff members
- Preparation of payroll data including new starters, leavers, sickness, holiday, and pay variations
- Data entry of hours worked into the payroll system
- Issuing and distributing electronic payslips
- Supporting the HR Coordinator with processing SSP and SMP
- Making declarations to the pension regulator and processing pension payments
- Assisting the HR team with additional HR administration tasks
- Dealing with any tax enquiries and preparing P11'ds
- Checking the integrity of the HMRC gateway to ensure agreement with PAYE
- Office experience in administration, payroll, or HR (beneficial but not essential)
- Computer literate
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Team player with a process-driven approach
- Good standard of formal education with above-average literacy and numeracy skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting basics and pensions is desirable
