Job Description:POSITION SUMMARYIs responsible for all activities related to specimen collection and processing, charting of laboratory reports, the lab front office and professional representation of the laboratory to the end users at large. Is knowledgeable in laboratory processes and practice, is able to support physisicans, nurses and phlebotomists queries as related to routine and esoteric testing. Is good at inter and intra-laboratory communication. Knows and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the non-technical supervisor.QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: High School Diploma and Medical Assistant diploma with Phlebotomy certification.Experience: Minimum 3 yrs in hospital Lab setting in both Front Office and Phlebotomy with supervisory potentialLicense: NACertification:CERT MED. ASSISTANT

Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed by phlebotomists, lab assistants, and non-technical support staff. Will oversee all aspects of reference lab/send out testing.Qualifications: Education:Required: High school diploma or equivalent Experience:Required: 3 years of phlebotomy or specimen processing (pre-analytic) experience with increasing responsibility in an acute care facility Certifications:Required: Phlebotomy certification where State law requires
