Job Summary Are you a skilled financial professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and effective financial reporting? A leading retail group in South Africa, is seeking a talented Group Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town. If you have a strong background in financial consolidation, IFRS, and reporting, this could be the perfect role for you.As the Group Financial Manager, you will play a critical role in producing reliable financial information for optimal decision-making and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations for a listed entity and providing expert guidance to divisions and service functions on financial matters.To apply, please send your CV toDuties:

Prepare and present accurate and timely consolidated financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Compile consolidated annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Assist with monthly reporting to the group and analyse divisional financial submissions.
Coordinate the budgeting process and prepare the final budget submissions.
Drive the three-year planning process and facilitate ad hoc financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and JSE listing requirements.
Engage with external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

Matric (Garde 12)
BCom Accounting
BCom Hoours / CTA
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles
3 to 5 years of post-article experience.
Experience in retail accounting is a plus.
Strong IFRS technical knowledge and experience in group consolidations, budgets, and forecasts.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to listed companies, including the Companies Act and JSE listing requirements.
