It also has supporting capabilities such as impregnation and electro-mechanical testing. The Centre is open to external partners and undertakes a wide range of projects in conjunction with industrial partners.About YouExcellent communication skills and a high level of health and safety awareness will be essential for the role in order to liaise with academics, students and other staff to set up, run and maintain specialist equipment and provide advice on the feasibility of practical experimental design and manufacture.You will need to have successfully completed an engineering apprenticeship or HNC/ONC in Engineering or hold a similar qualification, along with relevant experience in a related engineering discipline / environment.
