Position Summary The Inside Sales Account Representative is responsible for developing and increasing the Federal or SLED market segments from an inside sales and account management perspective. You will be assigned to either Federal or SLED teams based on experience. This will be accomplished through telephone and/or email. The sales focus will be Cisco and other OEM partners. This includes identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing quotes to prospective clients, and essentially owning and coordinating the entire inside sales cycle. Our compensation plan is base salary plus commission compensation.About DSI Tech DISYS Solutions Inc.   • Match Tier 1 and Tier II vendors and services to customer requirements such as Cisco, HPE, HP, Palo Alto, Crestron, Extron, DELL/EMC and Microsoft
  • Provide current and new clients with product information, quote prices, credit terms, and rates in a timely manner
  • Manage multiple purchase orders at a time and update/perform data entry of such purchase orders in our sales communication software tool
  • Will quote and sell our vendors’ products and professional services to state and local agencies, school districts, higher education institutions, federal entities
  • Participate in vendor product training sessions and meetings
  • Accurately and fully record customer requests, concerns, suggestions, and complaints on printed forms or on computer system
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships through courteous and efficient servicing of customer requests
  • Interface with customers and warehouse departments, service departments, and manufacturer technical support
  • Will exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information
  • Will manage own work flow and resolve questions and problems with supervisor.
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
  • 0-3 years of direct work experience as an Inside Sales / Account Manager in the Federal or SLED VAR (Virtual Account Reseller) industry
  • For candidates with some customer service and/or sales experience we prefer the work experience to be similar to that of DSI Tech (IT network infrastructure and software sales)
  • Prefer candidates with a college degree with degrees mentioned in next bullet point
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or a similar degree from the School of Business or an equivalent combination of education, training and related job experience
  • Excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative and perform independent initial problem solving; be resourceful, prioritize, and organize daily activities; attention to detail is a must
  • Work under pressure against tight deadlines; assertiveness is a must!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
