We are currently looking to grow our Warehouse Team with individuals who are obsessed with continuous improvement and innovationFrasers Group are a proud partner of the Institute of Engineering and TechnologyJob DescriptionShift pattern 4 on/4 off days/nightsYou will provide support to the Engineering Team and deputise for the Engineering Shift Manager as required. You will deliver site-based maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure uptime and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.You will support and manage all Shift Team activities, from carrying out maintenance and servicing automated equipment, to delivering training/coaching- serving as an inspirational Mentor to the TeamExpect to assist the Engineering Shift Manager in performance reviews, take accountability for safety/administration as well as ensuring performance KPI's are being maximised to improve efficiencies.You will be a Champion of safe working practice/compliance- and a proactive and helpful escalation point for all faults and breakdownsQualifications
  • Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Working with automated material handling systems
  • Experienced Team Leader/Manager
  • A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
  • Ability to work in a time critical environment
