● Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians
● Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images
● Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques such as embolization, angioplasty and ablation with image guidanc
● Working with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain
● Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
● Creating a radiation treatment plan for patients with cancer
● Managing radiation side effects in cancer patientsRequirements
Radiologist Requirements and Qualifications● Valid ACLS and BLS certification
● Specialization degree and successful 5-years of residency
● Valid state licensure to practice
● Proven success with relevant procedures and treatments
● Compliance with all laws and hospital policies
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the specialty is preferred
