SUMMARYThis is a position for a CDL Truck Driver who will be responsible for making deliveries and pick-ups for Macuch Steel Products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Must be able to drive a truck with capacity of approximately 20 tons
  • Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • Keeps record of materials and products transported
  • Cleans, inspects, and recommends when service on the vehicle is needed
  • Operates overhead crane and other equipment on vehicle to load or unload materials
  • Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges
  • Assists in loading and unloading truck manually
  • Must be available for an occasional overnight runs if needed.
Must also be able to drive:
  • Diesel flatbed steel haulers (bed length 23’, load weight range from 13,480 to 15,200)
  • F450 with a gooseneck trailer mostly local (mainly local but up to 60 mile radius)
  • Forklift and Oversized forklift
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 25 years old or older
  • 1 year Flatbed Experience is a MUST
  • 3 year and 50,000 miles of verifiable experience (Class A CDL)
  • MVR Containing no more than 1 moving violation in past three (3) years
  • Preventable accident history of no more than 1 in the past three (3) years
  • No alcohol or controlled substance related criminal convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • No record of failing a controlled substance or alcohol test
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
