- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
- Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- Perform benefit-oriented technical presentations of Bentley products and solutions to address customer challenges.
- Prepare and perform generic as well as feature specific demonstrations of Bentley products and solutions for individual prospects or during marketing events.
- Engage directly with users to conduct discovery sessions and define requirements.
- Works with sales team members and Solution Architect in benchmarking to demonstrate a good fit and improved time/performance with the Bentley software.
- Assist Business Development and Sales personnel in technical proposal development for prospects and existing customers.
- Develop standard demonstration sets and content for selected products.
- Engage in knowledge transfer to strengthen partners and the Bentley ecosystem.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Account Advancement and User Success teams.
- Traveling to client sites, trade shows and seminars to perform software presentations and demonstrations.
- +2 years’ experience in 3D modeling utilizing computer-aided design software (i.e. Revit, Civil 3D, or Bentley Open applications) is preferred.
- + 2 years of experience in managing ProjectWise, BCDE, or similar document management systems is preferred.
- Configuration experience with Bentley workspaces and/or AutoCAD profiles are desired.
- Comprehensive understanding of electronic document management with strong emphasis on engineering design workflows.
- Presentation skills and public speaking experience are desired.
- Excellent writing skills are a must, as s/he will be responsible for writing white papers and communicating product details and application to the public.
- Experience with planning and scheduling software (i.e. SYNCHRO, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, and Primavera P6).
- Ability to explain complex issues and solutions to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority.
- Travel 25 - 40% of time to spend time on-site with customers, users, and colleagues.
