We have also partnered with some reputable organisations to be able to offer discounts on Health Insurance, Banking (new home loans, credit cards, everyday bank accounts), flights & accommodation, car hire, car leasing and much more.What you'll be doingYou will be accountable for maintaining exceptional client relationships, develop stakeholder lines of communication and ensuring superior project delivery to exceed the client's expectations.In this role, you will be leading a small team to deliver the projects for our clients in accordance with the agreed KPI's developed with the Operations Director which as a minimum would include:
  • Safety outcomes through a continuing safety culture
  • Managing and leading a project team
  • Supporting and contributing to the Senior Project Teams and higher Management
  • Delivering outstanding service to our clients
  • Workload and utilisation as planned in program and project delivery
  • Organisational and project compliance
Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Providing commercial input, delivery expertise and constructability
  • Actively managing and participating in the Design and constructability reviews
  • Developing and Managing client level schedule of works within the key delivery phases
  • Managing and maintaining project cost plans including forecasting of risks and cost contingencies
  • Communicating budget variances to the Operations Director, Program Manager and clients
  • Contributing to evaluations of project performance and recommend actions for improvement of processes
  • Conducting project hand over meeting with the Client and agree final account
About you
To succeed in this position, you will need to have qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or similar and industry proven project team management experience in a project, construction, or similar role. You will also be a strong leader and ensure projects are delivered within agreed quality, cost and schedule whilst maintaining the agreed project management standards and consistency ensuring delivery achieves all Company and Client requirements.Ideally you will have the following competencies:
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • PRINCE2 certification will be highly regarded. However, this is not a requirement
  • An ability to seek and be involved in new business opportunities and effectively interface with the client
  • A high level of motivation and commitment to improve work practices, systems and procedures
Due to the nature of the contract, the following special conditions are required:
  • Australian Citizen (due to security requirements)
  • Domestic travel (approximately 4-6 times per year)
